The moment you stop pretending nothing is wrong is the moment everything changes.
About Tessa Davinia
A powerful life begins when you stop living by default and start making choices you can stand behind.
I coach people through the moments that define who they become - the hard calls, the turning points, the decisions that reshape careers, relationships, and futures.
I grew up between the UK and Mauritius. Moving between worlds taught me early how to adapt, read the room, and understand people beneath what they say out loud. I became attentive to moods, contradictions, and the unspoken tensions that shape behaviour.
For as long as I can remember, friends and family leaned on me when something felt off. Not because I had answers, but because I listened carefully, spoke honestly, and helped people feel clearer rather than judged.
That instinct still shapes my work today.
The start of learning how people really work
A career built on decisions that impact real lives
I went on to study Biological Sciences at Imperial College London, completed a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership, and built a career across healthcare, consulting, and education. I managed NHS hospital operations, advised organisations at KPMG, and started further education at the University of Cambridge before suspending these studies to take a senior role in Singapore.
Every role carried real consequences - for patients, teams, children, and entire communities.
And wherever I worked, people sought me out during the moments no one else wanted to touch.
The turning point: when looking away stopped working
There came a moment - professionally and personally - when I realised something simple but life-changing:
Not making a decision, is a decision.
When the values of an organisation clashed with my own, I didn’t look away. I made choices that cost me titles, income, and comfort - but gave me something far more important: a life I could live with.
Those years clarified something essential.
Peace doesn’t come from being seen as “good.” It comes from being able to look yourself in the eye.
Rebuilding with intention
I rebuilt my career from scratch, launched new ventures, and stepped away from needing external approval. Instead of panicking or forcing outcomes, I learned to slow down, get clear on what was actually happening, and do the right thing - even when it wasn’t easy.
One question kept me grounded: “What decision can I live with?”
I’ve been answering it ever since.
Today, I coach people at their crossroads - leaders, professionals, and individuals who know their next step matters.
My goal: help them see clearly, choose the decision they can live with, and move forward without losing themselves.
